Taking Advantage of Bitcoin

Bitcoin is an online cryptocurrency that can be used by almost anyone to make anonymous trasactions online. The majority of the Bitcoin users are law abiding people that simply care about privacy, or are just curious in the online trading system. However, some people take advantage of these anonymous transactions by committing crimes. Ross Ulbricht is one of these people. In Feburary 2015 he was arrested by the FBI in a public coffee shop, and sentenced to life in prison for creating Silk Road. Silk Road was a website where people could buy drugs using cryptocurrency, and have things like cocaine, weed, or other pills shipped to their doorstep. This website ended up being responsible for $1 billion worth of drug trade and it was all done by Ross from a public coffee shop.
