Cars on autopilot?

Multiple car companies today are beginning to work on projects leading to a totally self driving car. Tesla is one of these major companies. Their cars now have the capability to be put on autopilot and drive without the driver having to do anything. This includes changing lanes, breaking, checking speed and a few more actions. However, these cars are not capable of handling any driving situation and require some interference from the driver. But what do you do when the driver is drunk and passes out behind the wheel relying on the cars autopilot? Attached is a great article about what went down.
